Sophia has earned an incredible 4.8 GPA and ranks 17th in one of the most academically competitive graduating classes at Carson High School. She has challenged herself through rigorous Advanced Placement coursework, participated in both CHS swim and basketball teams, competed at the State level in Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), and serves as President of our FCCLA chapter. She is currently the Vice President of the National Honor Society. In her free tine, Sophia participates in both CHS swim and basketball teams. Sophia volunteers with the local farmers market and works as a lifeguard and swim instructor at the Carson City pool, specializing in lessons for children with disabilities. Her hard work is now opening some extraordinary doors. Sophia recently learned that she is one of just 7,526 students nationwide selected as a 2026 QuestBridge National College Match Finalist.
