Welcome to Carson Rotary

The Benefits of Membership

Rotary brings together a global network of volunteers who dedicate their time and talent to tackle the world’s most pressing humanitarian challenges. We use our knowledge of local issues to identify areas of need, then apply our expertise and diverse perspectives to the problem. Our Rotary members are most likely at work in your community right now feeding the hungry, tutoring children, maintaining parks, and more. You can help.

Change your community with us by volunteering on a local project. Turn your passion for change into action through Rotary. Uniting with your fellow club and local community members will foster good will and relationships.

Membership in Rotary ensures continuing personal and professional development. Rotarians have countless opportunities to further enhance their leadership skills as well as gain experience in public speaking and communication, organization and planning, team building, fund-raising and teaching.

Fellowship was a primary reason Rotary was started in 1905 and it remains a major attraction today. Many Rotarians in our club have been members and friends for more than 20 years.

With more than 31,000 Rotary Clubs in some 165 countries, Rotarians have friends where-ever they go. Rotary helps build a sense of community as well. Some say it's our greatest strength.
Perhaps the most important benefit is the satisfaction gained from making a real difference in the world. The worldwide elimination of new polio cases is something every Rotarian takes great pride in supporting. Rotary builds international understanding through scholarships, student exchange programs and humanitarian grants. More than 1.2 million men and women in over 200 countries and geographical areas belong to over 30,000 Rotary clubs worldwide.
